This Double IPA finishes at 8.25% ABV, and has a bitter bite at over 100 IBUs. As far as the dominant hop goes, three pounds of Centennial hops per barrel give our double IPA a slightly punishing yet entirely pleasing bitterness that dances on the tongue.
We crafted a saison that is more traditional, then we added Blood Orange, a seasonal fruit that complements the tartness and fruity flavors perfectly.
A surprisingly bright, coffee-forward beer that's perfectly refreshing. Calm Before the Storm came from a quest for a warm weather alternative to our Victory at Sea Imperial Porter. Like its more robust cousin, we infuse a punch of flavor using cold brewed Caffé Calabria coffee and a hint of vanilla. But this time, we added it to a lighter-bodied golden cream ale.
This rustic beer is fermented with real pumpkin and a hint of Fall spices. Our farmhouse yeast yields a delightful tartness that sets this pumpkin beer apart.
American IPA Loads of Crystal and Sterling hops lead the way in producing huge citrus and pine aromatics. Hoppiness is supported with a clean, slightly biscuity malt backbone.
Pale Ale with Local Michigan Hops.
A big, full bodied Scottish ale, but still very smooth and balanced. Tastes like a smokey chocolate chip cookie, wild roadside cherry-asparagus, woody, crispy leaf on a fall day. Smells like a fresh caramel apple with a hint of cinnamon inside of cranberry shortbread. Or maybe fresh home made hard candy.
We began with a classic Witbier malt bill, then added our own twist. Instead of corriander and orange peel, we tossed in fresh ginger root, lime zest and cracked black peppercorns. The body of this beer is light and spritzy, with just a touch of acidulated malt to help round out all the flavors and make the ginger and lime sing. Gamma-Ray is a refreshing beer that pairs beutifully with food.
Distorter is its own ball of confusion, robustly blurring the lines between porter and stout. 50 ibus.
Daisy Cutter Pale Ale is a West Coast Strong Pale Ale, focusing on the aromatic qualities of the hops. A master blend of five different hops creates a powerful nose and a dynamic flavor.
German Pale with house yeast cold fermented with 3 types of German hops.
Its back! Our Oktoberfest style rye lager. Expect a nice malt heft and ample German hops to round out this premium sipper. The bottles have not one but three different potential label art options designed by our man Phineas. There's a hunt in the woods, the castle is convulsing and the depths of the underworld rejoice.
The kinetic beauty of spicy hops grabs you by the nose and lets you know: this is German-inspired beer. A mild, bready malt sweetness greets you at the lips, smoothing the crisp hop flavors. Flywheel is meant for bombastic celebrations of singing voices and clamoring mugs. But then, that first contented moment of happy hour is uniquely celebratory as well. Flywheel Bright Lager goes great with hot dogs, guitar jams, stir fry, bowling, taco salad, house warmings, baked potatoes, Saturday morning cartoons, tequila, gouda cheese, karaoke, bagel & schmear, Euchre, fresh berries, asparagus, 16-inch softball, sushi, darts, Pad Thai, family reunions, pb&j, flan, romantic weekend getaways, garlic bread, pay raises, nachos, baby showers, fondue, and Frisbee golf.
Deep in rich color and malt, this beer is smooth, light on the palate, and dangerously delicious.
Brewed with Vienna malt for a gentle malt flavor and hopped with Styrian, Warrior, Cascade and Centennial for a fantastic hop flavor and aroma.
A barrel aged Imperial Stout with roasty malt character intermingled with deep vanilla tones, all dancing in an oak bath.
Honey beer with molasses and oats.
Huell melon hops showcase red berry and ripe watermelon characteristics before journeying into a fruity malt balance and a dry, tart finish
If you enjoyed Square Grouper, this one might also strike your fancy. We're certainly pleased with how this turned out. The aroma on thiseven the thought of the talk of the aroma.
Khlöros infused with Single Origin Intelligentsia Coffee.
Clean, crisp, easy-drinking golden lager inspired by pre-prohibition pilsners. Spicy, fruity hop aroma with a balanced finish.
God Damn Pigeon Porter was brewed with our friends from across the pind in mind. We use traditional Englush Amber malt, but being the unruly Americans we are, we put our own happy twist on things. One of our favorite hops, Simcoe was added late in the boil. This delightful Porter will take your mind off the everyday nuisances of living in a big city, especially those f-ing pigeons!
American wild ale brewed with pears.
Bitter Woman IPA is our Wisconsin variation of an India Pale Ale. This beer is intensely bitter with a mighty hop flavor and aroma.
Let's Go Tropical. Created by our very own Viking cowboy, astrophysicist, champion fencer, bottling line tamer, and all round mechanical guru of the brewery: Nikolous Cox, AKA Bender, this brew is made for the summer heat. The tropical flavors of coconut and pineapple will make you think you're lounging on the North Shore with the first sip. Leis not included. Beard of Paradise will be available at Upland locations July 24th. The aroma and flavor are rich with a mix of coconut, pineapple, and the delicate citrus of mosaic hops. A slight perceived sweetness from the crystal malt is balanced by the mild acidity of the pineapple.
Cider with wet Columbus hops. Midwest Organic Hops harvested and delivered to the cider mill on the same day.
E.Z. Orchards Willamette Valley Cidre is the culmination of 10 years effort to develop our orchard and refine our fermentation technique. We grow a selection of French, English, and Early American apple varieties. The fruit contain essential characteristics, necessary to impart structure and aroma in our Cidre. The predominant characteristics are attributed to French varieties (85% of the blend) contributing tannin for structure, fermentable sugars, and aroma. We use one low acid English variety with similar dynamics. The balance of the fruit is tart to achieve the acidity necessary to complete the structure and provide stability.
Our lightest, most casual cider, pale gold and bubbly, with a stroke of sweetness along with the tart, bitter, and fruity elements that good cider offers. Citrus, pineapple, bittersweet apple, and a trace of the barn. Farmhouse astringency is nowhere near the extreme, but shows a certain tannic edge. Agreeably versatile, sharing certain flavor elements with both beer and wine. A clean, appetizing finish makes it congenial with many kinds of food, from the snackiest to the whole-grainiest and back.
