North Carolina Pulled Pork

Our succulent pulled pork is topped with a dash of vinegar and creamy coleslaw. The cold coleslaw, soft bun, and hot pork will make your tongue want to slap your brain. Inspired by North Carolina style barbeque, where vinegar + pork = barbeque.

Pulled Pork

Hand rubbed with a special blend of seasonings, we smoke it for hours over hickory wood and then our skilled team member on boards pulls it fresh for your sandwich right in front of you. It’s hand pulled pork. This is good stuff.

Beef Brisket

This is what started the business. Hand rubbed with our special recipe rub, then lovingly placed in the hickory wood-fueled smokers by our Pitmasters. Hours and hours will pass before our brisket is smoked to perfection. Cooked low and slow over indirect heat, patience and wood are the keys to great brisket (and great barbeque!) We hand trim each brisket to order. Order it with “extra bark,” the delicious and flavorful edge of the brisket.

Smoked Turkey Breast

Coming from a local farm, our turkey breast is truly tender and memorable. First we marinate it in our secret recipe, then smoke it low and slow for hours. Pulled fresh from the smoker, hand sliced and served hot.

Pulled Chicken

We are proud to serve Gerber Amish chickens, grown locally. We smoke our bone-in chickens over hickory until we get our signature pink smoke ring (a sign of true barbeque.)Then we hand pull chicken from the bone to create this sandwich. Simmering the chicken in our homemade white barbeque sauce to finish it makes this the perfect pulled chicken sandwich! Our white sauce spent years in the making and is a perfect blend cayenne and black pepper, horseradish, vinegar and other secret ingredients with sauteed red onion. We promise this is one sandwich you will not soon forget!

Smoked Chicken Breast

We call our smoked chicken breast BIG. Barnyard Kings. These are no skinny chickens. We start with Gerber Amish chickens, fed a vegetarian diet with no antibiotics or additives. Hand rubbed and hickory smoked by our skilled Pitmasters. Tender and juicy, with our signature pink smoke ring you can only get from smoking slow and low. Get it as a half pound sandwich (pulled from the bone right when you order) or also as a half chicken, breast/wing, or leg/thigh.

Texas Smoked Sausage

A City Barbeque original. An all beef filling in a natural pork casing. Made with a blend of black pepper and other secret seasonings. It comes topped with our sweet vinegar slaw. Or ask for it without the slaw. Try it paired with our mustard sauce. You decide! Either way, our smoked sausage recipe is straight out of true barbeque country: Elgin, Texas.

Fresh Cut Fries

We make fresh cut fries, just like the kind you’d find at your County Fair. Idaho potatoes are cut fresh throughout the day, and fried. We choose Idaho because they simply make the best fries. Leaving the peel on for extra flavor, we finish ‘em with a light salting. A true favorite!

Green Beans W/ Bacon

We start by sautéing bacon and onion. Then we create our own pure chicken stock, in house. Add in some Kentucky wonder beans and simmer for hours in the sautéed onion, bacon and chicken stock. This recipe also hales from our Pit Boss’ wife’s family in Tennessee.

Sweet Vinegar Slaw

Inspired by a friend from Georgia who suggested this wonderful family recipe. We modified it a bit to make it a classic. A perfect refreshing addition.Try it with our Pulled Pork for a North Carolina barbeque experience!

Potato Salad

You will taste the homemade freshness in this side. A picnic potato salad, mayonnaise based with red skinned potatoes, celery, egg and onion. This will remind you of home.

Corn Pudding

This recipe was obtained from a little old lady at a pot luck. She kindly shared the recipe with one of our founders, and the rest is history. With a base of cornmeal and corn, you’ll notice the buttery deliciousness in every bite. True comfort food, true rib stickin’ sides. This specialty is derived from the southeastern U.S.A.

Mac and Cheese

This is always a favorite. Great for kids, but for adults too! An American classic, ubiquitous across cross all menus.

Baked Beans W/ Brisket

This recipe is the result of years and years of experimentation. Our founders worked on these for 14 years perfecting the recipe. A crowning achievement on this recipe was adding our signature smoked brisket, baked right into the beans to give it a perfect sweet and smokey flavor.

Hand Dipped Hush Puppies

If you haven’t tried our hush puppies, then run to City Barbeque right now and try them! Course ground cornmeal, hand dipped and served piping hot and golden brown. Perfect paired with our sweet vinegar slaw and any of our smoked sandwiches. Try ‘em with a little bit of honey- now that’s good comfort food! The name “hush puppy” comes from a way to get rid of left over batter from a catfish fry. A dog is begging for food from the cook, barking. Cooks made fried pieces of dough out of the batter- to hush the puppy! In North Carolina, almost all barbeque meals are served standard with hush puppies.

Side Salad

Our side salad is big! Full of a mix of crisp romaine and spring mix lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes and red onion. Choose from any of our T Marzetti dressings to top it off.

Corn Bread

We can’t be a barbeque joint without great cornbread, served warm from the oven! Our traditional tasting cornbread is moist and buttery, perfect paired with any of our smoked meats.

Gumbo W/ Rice

We start with a heaping scoop of brown rice and top it with a meaty and spicy gumbo filled with traditional Louisiana-style cooking (onions, bell peppers, celery and garlic). Warm up with our Gumbo!

Lil’ Ringer Kids’ Plate

Choose one: Kids’ sandwich, mac and cheese or chicken tenders plus one side and a drink. Applesauce and milk available!
