Fuller bodied Rosé made from 100% Aglianico. The salmon pink hue of the wine is deceptive in making one think that this is a delicate wine. In reality the power of the Aglianico grape shines through with an intense bouquet of red fruit and citrus. The lively acidity and flavors of citrus zest give a sharpness and power to this bone dry Rosé.
Lighter to medium bodied pure Falanghina that blends the crispness of its apple and pineapple flavors with a rounder almond quality. The attributes of this white make it a great alternative to Pinot Grigio and also make it is great on its own or with richer dishes such as Buffalo Mozzarella.
Light bodied Cortese making a crisp white with flavors of green apple and citrus framed by a soft mineral quality. This refreshing white is great as an aperitivo or with lighter dishes.
Medium bodied Pinot Grigio from the Trentino-Alto Adige region features delicate fruit aromas. Rich flavors of sweet stone fruit give the wine fairly round mouth feel, initially making this wine seem richer than many other Pinot Grigios. This is still a nicely crisp wine, with plenty of acidity on the finish.
Medium bodied, yet crisp blend of Garganega, Chardonnay and Trebbiano. Initially light with floral and tree fruit flavors, but a rich nutty character on the finish gives this wine a fuller impression.
Medium bodied Negroamaro that shows an intensity with ripe red fruit and liquorice notes. The palate is fruity and spicy before evolving to a soft supple finish.
Primativo, a close relative to the American Zinfandel grape, produces a full bodied fruity wine. The dark fruit flavors are framed by strong tannins and give the wine a long warm finish.
Medium bodied blend of Nero d'Avola and Frappato from vineyards on the island of Sicily. Hot summer days created a dense and concentrated wine in both aromas and flavors of dark berries, mild spice and leather. Balanced acidity and smooth tannins last all the way though the long, yet easy finish.
Full bodied Aglianico is a rustic and brooding red with dark dried fruit flavors mingled with tar and leather. The intense flavors are balanced by solid tannins and good acidity.
Medium bodied Sangiovese from vineyards in the heart of Tuscany. A very easy drinking Chianti with a nice balance of ripe red fruit flavors and just a hint of spice. The easy drinking style of this wine make it a great match for lighter dishes or even on its own as an aperitivi.
Medium bodied Sangiovese from the Premier Rufina Chianti producer, Selvapiana. Chianti Rufina has been known for centuries for its outstanding wine and this Chianti lives up to that reputation. Beginning with a delicate floral and slightly spicy nose, leading to ripe berry fruit flavors and sweet tannins, making this an incredibly smooth Chianti.
Lighter bodied Dolcetto from Dogliani. Dolcetto makes a great easy drinking wine in that sort of every day style that is perfect for the rustic food of Piedmont. Black fruit flavors and spice with a smooth velvety texture.
Medium bodied Nebbiolo from Damilano, a leading producer of Barolo. Bright fruit and spice are framed by more earthy influences. Similar to a Pinot Noir, but with stronger more persistent tannins giving the wine more heft and grip.
Fuller bodied blend based on the local Corvina grape is packed full of ripe concentrated red berry fruit flavors. With beautifully integrated tannins and a fine line of acidity, the wine is powerful yet silky soft all the way through the nice finish.
