The Pavilion is a stand alone 3600 SF space that can be easily converted between enclosed with AC and heat to open air. It is conveniently located close the the Chapel and within walking distance of the main lodge but does provide a degree of separation, if needed, from the main lodge.

For your safety, Rough Creek only allows two shooters on the ground at one time. Be assured there is plenty of shooting for everyone. Hunting safety is our first priority, therefore safety instruction will be given to all hunters prior to every hunt. Guns with improved cylinder or skeet chokes are allowed during hunts. Guns are not allowed in guest rooms. We can store them in our locked safe in the Beretta Room or you may leave them in your vehicle. Guns are available at a nominal fee.

White-Tailed Deer Hunting season correlates to the Texas Parks & Wildlife designations. We hunt in two counties, Somervell and Erath. Our entire deer population is free ranging, not high-fenced. We use tree stands, tripods and ground blinds over feeders on 11,000 acres. Individual, group, and family hunts available - call for more information!
A professional guide, carpeted blind with chairs, feeder with motion activated lights, handheld laser illumination for night hunts, and guide will call for coyotes before hunt is over. Use of a Colt AR 15 at a nominal fee.

Very similar to Sporting Clays in that a wide variety of targets are thrown. Challenges all skill levels. The Wobble trap is a variant of standard trap. The main difference is a much more extreme target flight path than in standard trap shooting (the trap oscillates up and down as well as side to side). Shooters are allowed two shots per pull.
