A unique tea from japan blending roasted & popped rice w/ amazing green sencha. We took our emperor's genmaicha, got a little funky & blended it w/ fresh ground chai spices. The result is an amazingly nutty infusion w/ a bit of spice. Perfectly balanced green tea w/ sweet vegetal notes.
Our sencha genmaicha has a much higher concentration of high mountain sencha green tea; we like to call it a brighter version of our emperor’s genmaicha. It has a much higher concentration of high mountain sencha green tea w/ a more muted nutty & toasted flavor & more vibrant sencha notes.
This fantastic staple green tea is perfect any time of day. Unlike chinese green teas, japanese sencha is steamed before rolling & drying. When brewed, this chartreuse liquor has a vegetal aroma & a sweet, grassy taste. Invigorating & fragrant, this caffeinated tea will fuel you throughout the day. This sencha is made up of long, flat, deeply colored green leaves & pieces. It has a rich body & no bitterness, unlike inferior quality tea. This is a delicious, high-quality staple green tea, great for everyday use.
A wonderful blend of green sencha & wild grown rose flower. This blend has a lightly sweet floral note to the natural grassy flavored green sencha. The production of sencha green tea entails the steaming of the green leaf by hand or machine rubbing. The teas are then basket fired which gives them a distinctive appearance & glossy look & feel. These methods give a taste that is light in color but rich & full flavor.
