Must be 21 to Purchase. A slow-brewed Junmai Ginjo born from two kinds of rice with established reputations. Like its namesake, a famous business tycoon, this sake knows how to present only the best qualities. The gently blooming aroma from the Omachi rice blends with the full-bodied, rich flavor given to it by Yamadanishiki rice. A slight tartness eases into a clean, savory experience on the palate. The chief brewer recommends serving cold to maximize enjoyment.
Must be 21 to Purchase. An unfiltered sake in a cheerful bottle. The light pink glass is the perfect shade to represent the sake, which piques your taste buds. Its creamy taste matches its creamy texture. The natural smoothness is enhanced by the fruity, almost strawberry nose, which lifts the spirits like a sweet song. If you prefer lighter brews, don't miss the chance to give this one a try.
Must be 21 to Purchase. Full-strength sake, luscious on the palate with dried fruits and hints of anise and spice on the finish. Nice for pairing with similarly spicy foods, e.g. curries or charcuterie. Roosters are brash and bold, like the Genshu sake which is undiluted, with higher alcohol content (17.5%) and a richer and deeper taste than the Nama.
“One Cup Ozeki” is a refreshing and well balanced sake with a variety of sizes and tastes.
The nose on this very cool looking can is filled with ricy, woody, and nutty aromas. This is an extremely user friendly can of sake. It is super clean, light, thin and balanced and simply disappears from the palate.
Kuroushi's "Black Bull" is rich and ricey, with a soft earthiness, and a touch of leather. It's a full-bodied, dry sake made to show off the best qualities of the Omachi rice varietal—the oldest pure strain of sake rice, discovered in 1859. The result is a rich, layered, nuanced, soft yet sturdy sake suitable for pairing with nearly any cuisine but enjoyed best with beef. With an aroma of white muscat grapes and citrus fruits, its soft acidic taste flows down the palate very smoothly. It has a very elegant, long finish.
