- Full-bodied & smooth with roasty tones and notes of cocoa, herbs and citrus. - Just as Flagstaff has its four seasons, our Mountain Town Blend is created seasonally from new crop offerings from around the world. We are currently blending a natural-processed Brazil, semi-washed Sumatra, and wet-processed Guatemala after treating each of them to a medium-dark, closing in on the 2nd crack roast profile. It's a well-balanced cup that reveals a wide range of complexity depending on how you choose to brew it. -Immersion style brewing brings out the wilder, deeper tones while drip brewing seems to accentuate the fruit-forward notes and brighter, livelier flavors from the Guatemala. If you like your espresso with darker roast notes, our Mountain Town Blend is a blend to try.
Deep, dark roast notes. Oily, creamy baker’s chocolate with notes of leather, tobacco and molasses-like sweetness with a crisp finish. Brewing recommendations: drip, french press, you name it. Absolutely fantastic when you add a dash of cream. We've made our North Rim blend available every week since the day we first brewed it in 1996. The roast is intensely aromatic with a punchy spicy flavor and a crisp and clean finish.
Decaf Dark Roast | adventure, risk, comfort earthy, rich, chocolate, crisp, smooth Brewing Recommendation: french press, drip Deeply dark, smooth and aromatic with woodsy, earthy flavors and a crisp, clean finish. Exceptional with or without cream
our Black & Tan is a blend of two different roast profiles. The lighter roast provides a bright yet soft, full-bodied component that's sweet and chocolaty with hints of nuts and floral/vanilla aromas. The trio of beans taken darker accentuates an unmistakable French Roast roastiness. Whether you are well-aquainted, or a newby to dark roasts, our Black & Tan is a nice cup; especially if you sometimes like your cup black, or sometimes with cream & sugar.

We recently decided to change up our Smokejumper. We are now going back to basics with one of our original recipes. It has bold roast notes, molasses-like sweetness and an ultra smooth texture and base notes. The base of our Smokejumper is a wet-processed coffee from Indonesia. It's really smooth with low acidity. We roast it just between 1st and 2nd crack, then we blend in some of our North Rim Blend for the darker, dark roast notes. It's great black or with a spoonful of cream.
Earthy toned, cane sugar sweetness, and complex notes of ripe fruits. Regions : Sumatra and Ethiopia Brewing: Great in a Mocha pot, or any immersion style contraption like French Press. As always, use it the way you want to brew it.
