The Brooklyn Brewery is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. We are fortunate to be a part of the incredible cultural renaissance Brooklyn has enjoyed during the last quarter century. Four great Brooklyn artists whom we met along the way-Fred Tomaselli, Roxy Paine, Joe Amhrein and Elizabeth Crawford-have created special labels for our Silver Anniversary Lager beer. We are saluting our beginnings with a special doppelbock version of the Brooklyn Lager we introduced in 1988. This beer is re-fermented in the bottle and will taste great today or years from now. The original was inspired by the beers of 19th Century New York and Vienna.

Vichtenaar" is a beer, brewed with roasted malts, spicey hops, fruity yeast and soft water, pumped up from a 172 m deep well, guaranteeing constant quality and pureness of the liquor. After primary and secondary lagering, "Vichtenaar" gets a ternary fermentation in oak vessels during 8 months. These oak pipes are big tuns with a capacity varying between 500 and 2500 hectolitres. "Vichtenaar" is a traditional and specific Western Flemish beer, from the northwest of Belgium. Its taste can be described as mild-sourish and suitably complex, thanks to the long lagering on oak. This tart flavour makes it eminently suitable for the hot summer months. "Vichtenaar" is one of the last Flemish "Oud bruins" that are really lagered in the oak tuns, and are as such appreciated by the connoisseur, looking for authenticity. As early as 1958 "Vichtenaar" was crowned as the top in an international concours in Gent

K-O is the latest invention of Dirk Naudts, one of Belgium's leading brewmasters. For years, Dirk has been coming up with winning beer recipes for breweries large and small throughout Belgium and Holland. (You would be amazed at how many beers with other people's labels on them were actually created by Dirk.) Meanwhile, of course, there's the beer to talk about. When we first tried it, a year or so ago, K-O was a pretty good blonde ale, with deceptive strength and a black-and-white Xeroxed label that, frankly, really sucked. But then, by chance, when Brother Daniel was poking around the Pike Place Market in Seattle, he found an antique label for a now-defunct apple orchard called K-O that really made a punchy statement. Our good friend Paul re-worked that label a tad, we convinced Dirk to add a few extra shovel-fulls of hops to the brew, and there you have it: a bottle of beer that anyone can understand. The name says it all. This fabulous golden ale will knock you on your can. But K-O delivers more than just an alcoholic punch in the face this is real beer, with pure malt and hops, body and character, not just a metric ton of fermented candi sugar

Tripel Karmeliet has a complex gold to bronze color, with a creamy head. This is partly due to the cereals but also to the limited use of Styrian hops, the abundant herbs and fruity aroma (banana and vanilla) of the used yeast. A spicy, peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of bananas.
This highly regarded limited release is loaded with big American hops, but drinks nice and smooth.
Delicate balance of fruit and spice, hint of sweetness, hint of tartness, redolent of Granny Smith Apples
Floral bouquet, aromas of honey, spice, coriander, malt, and alcohol. Mildly yeasty with a complex palate of malt, fruit and spice notes followed by a smooth, dry finish.
La Maudite (The Damned One), refermented on yeast base in the bottle, goes down uncommonly smooth. One taste of this excellent beer will instill in you the highest respect and appreciation for its warm mellowing effect. Characterized by a robust maltiness and spiciness that is counterbalanced by an assertive crisp hop finish.
The brewers at brewery Van Steenberge had noticed the trend toward more hoppy beers worldwide and decided to experiment with the world famous Piraat Ale to produce a strong, rounded yet complex brew with defined hop character.

Dry and delightful, this is an elegant beer. Malts: 2 row German Pilsner malt. Hops: German and Czech whole flowers.
Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-pored white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. To be enjoyed at any time (always a pleasure / enjoyment), goes excellently with fish and seafood, with spicy cheese and especially with the traditional Bavarian veal sausage. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.
In our golden-yellow crystal-clear wheat beer the fresh citrus flavour harmonises very well with spicy banana notes. The fine sparkling gives it a tangy and animated appearance. Throughout summer and winter, it's a prickling experience. It goes well with fish, seafood, white meat or it can be enjoyed as an aperitif. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.
A reddish brown trappist ale, malty and fruit, featuring a 3 week secondary fermentation.

Merry Monks' is a Belgian style Abby Tripel. To be true to the style, Merry Monks' Ale is bottle conditioned. This means we add a bit of sugar and yeast just prior to bottling. This imparts a special effervescence to the beer, a creamier carbonation, and also extends the shelf life.
Yards has recreated General Washington Tavern Porter - a dark beer brewed with molasses. General George Washington originally created this porter to satisfy the thirsts of his field officers. Washington's fondness for Colonial Philadelphia-style porter is reflected in this historic recipe.

The unmistakeable deep-dark color, the crisp hint of roasted barley, the fresh breeze of hops, and the refreshing bite all make for the bittersweet reward.
A Belgian golden ale. On the nose it is lightly hoppy and yeastily spicy, with faint caramelly malt notes and a touch of citrusy and estery fruit. The head tastes extremely bitter, as is often the case with this style. Surprisingly fruity, but with a strong hoppy bitterness. There is a warming, malty, vanilla quality to it, which develops into an alcohol kick towards the end. Secondary fermentation in the bottle.
This voluminously hopped mutha delivers a hoppy nose and assertive-but-balanced flavors of pale malts and citrusy floral hops from start to finish. America's first-craft-canned mountain Pale is a hearty, critically acclaimed trailblazer that changed the way craft beer fiends perceive portable beer.
Our "Velvet M-80" is a hefty, dry hopped double-red ale with a nose full of aroma, a sticky mouthfeel, a malty middle and unctuous hop flavors. G'Knight sports a surprisingly sensuous finish for a beer of its size. It's brewed in tribute to a fellow Colorado craft beer pioneer and Vietnam vet who died fighting a 2002 wild fire outside of our Lyons hometown.

Its huge-but-comforting flavors hide a whopping 98 IBUs that are deftly tucked underneath the beer's mountains of malty goodness.

LOCAL (PA) A lot is read into the word craft or micro-produced. But how many cider companies have been growing apples for over 50 years? Not many. With Jack's Hard Cider, we pride ourselves in the fact that we produce a hard cider from the ground up literally. We grow the apples, press apples, ferment apples, and package the final product all from our facility located in one of the Apple Capitals of the World, Biglerville Pennsylvania. In a town that claims some of the biggest brand names in Apple Products, Jack's Hard Cider was inspired by "Jack" Hauser, who led Musselman Foods into national recognition in the 1950s, and who is the patriarch of the Hauser Family, makers of Jack's Hard Cider.
Orchard Gate Gold is fermented naturally in small artisanal batches from a proprietary blend of organic apples grown here at our Koan Family Orchards in Michigan. We have produced hard ciders here since the 1860s. This is the same traditional recipe that helped save our farm during the great depression. There will be slight variations from batch to batch, just as nature makes no two apples alike!
