Offering a little something for everyone, our Clarksville blend serves as the house drip coffee at all of our retail locations. A rotating blend of three seasonally fresh coffees- it offers a ripe cherry acidity, lots of chocolate, and a deep brown sugar sweetness. It holds up nicely to cream and sugar while also tasting great by itself. If you’re looking for a great, reliable coffee to drink all day, Clarksville is a perfect option. If you’re among the dedicated bunch that endeavors to make espresso at home, this is the subscription for you. La Famiglia is Medici’s house espresso—a blend of coffees from Ethiopia, Brazil, and Colombia; selected to provide a complex, dynamic espresso with notes of chocolate, dark fruit, and toasted nuts. It’s great as an espresso, and also balances perfectly with milk in a cappuccino or latte. Roasting Schedule: All coffee is roasted to order on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Region: Valle Del Cauca. Altitude: 1750 masl. Variety: Castillo, Caturra. Process: Washed, Sugarcane EA Decaffeinated. Selected from lots produced by numerous smallholder farmers in Colombia's Valle Del Cauca region and decaffeinated using ethyl acetate—an organic compound derived from sugarcane, the area's primary crop—this is another standout decaf coffee. It's balanced and sweet, with notes of white grape, raspberry scone, and marzipan, and delicious when brewed in any method. Roasting Schedule: All coffee is roasted to order on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Sierra Mixteca is the mountain range that can be found between the states of Oaxaca and Puebla. It is also known as the land of the clouds in the Mixtec language. Geologically speaking, this mountain range is one of the oldest regions in Mexico and the ancient volcanic activity has left scars in the form deep canyons and river beds that are seen today. The Mixteca civilization was one of the most brilliant cultures in Mesoamerica and many of its traditions can still be seen in today’s society, in the traditional clothing, foods and music. After the Zapoteca people abandoned Monte Alban, the famous archeological site near Oaxaca city, the Mixtecas took over the land as a spiritual site for rituals and burials. In the highlands that make up Sierra Mixteca region, there are hundreds of small-scale coffee growers, descendants of the Mixteca tribe and with farm sizes of no more than 2-3 hectares. These farmers are dedicated and committed to producing coffee for a living, but many of them also produce honey and fruits to diversify their offering. We've found this coffee to have notes of Rose, Cherry, and Caramel. Roasting Schedule: All coffee is roasted to order on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Notte—meaning “night” in Italian—is a blend designed for our customers who prefer a darker, more developed roast profile. This is a new challenge for us; roasting coffee on the darker side without losing all of its unique qualities isn’t easy, but we feel great about where we’ve landed. We took our Clarksville blend and pushed it a little bit further, finding notes of apple pie, toasted marshmallow, and cocoa. Notte is perfect as a filter coffee or—if you’re looking for something a little more traditional than our La Famiglia—an espresso.
