Smooth Full-bodied, complex and intense wine with a fruity bouquet. Expressing the true characteristics of Dão, this wine exhibits freshness, elegance and ripe fruit.
This Chardonnay is made with hand selected, 100% Chardonnay grapes, grown at the Santa Ana Estate. Aged in oak barrels for one year before bottling gives this wine complex structure and a beautiful golden color with lively citrus and floral flavors. Medium bodied, this is an easy drinking wine with some crisp apple skin tones. A fresh, clean young wine, with a rounded, biscuity character on the nose, balanced by a fresh, lemony fruit. Fruit ripeness and a touch of honey give weight on the palate.
