The Donut Parade - Spokane, WA

One would think we call this donut White Lightening because we use white icing...but we also make some with chocolate icing, and we call those White Lightening also...so we are just as confused as you are. Anyway, this is the owners second favorite donut and it is a raised bar, dusted with cinnamon and sugar and then drizzled with either white or chocolate icing. You can also get them stuffed with Apple, which is basically like a fantastic apple pie flavor profile.

This light and fluffy donut is in the traditional shape (round with a hole) and can be Iced with Chocolate, White or Maple Icing. We also serve it with or without sprinkles.

What you see is what you get here. We don't hide our jellies and custards inside our donuts, we display them for all the world to see! Don't worry, the center is still hollowed out, so there is plenty of filling to go around! (The real reason we do our donuts this way is that when we first opened, we mistakenly sold multiple "filled" donuts with no filling, so I decided that from now on everyone could see that the donuts are filled. I fully intended to go back to the traditional way...but this kind a caught on, so it stayed)

We call this a Synonym Swirl because it is like a Cinnamon Roll, but not quite. We roll up a generous amount of cinnamon in this donut...and then fry them just like Grammar used to make....

This is your basic cake donut here, but for extraordinary people! The donut is a white cake donut, topped with a variety of icings and/or sprinkles. This is another item that we get creative with each day.

One of our most popular Cake Donuts, the Blueberry cake is one we try to have plenty of every day! We traditionally serve them glazed, but if you want to put a tasty twist on it, then order it up with Maple Icing instead! Think blueberry pancakes and maple syrup...

This is by far our most popular donut! We serve our Maple Bars light and fluffy and we don't go overboard on the icing. If you time your visit to Donut Parade just right, you might even get one hot off of the fryer!

Yep, this is a raised donut with chocolate icing. It really does not get much better then this for all the chocolate and donut lovers out there. We serve these up light and fluffy!

If you like the sweet and savory combo, then this is the only donut for you! We top a traditional Maple Bar with a generous amount of bacon and then leave it up to you how to eat it!

We do our Apple Fritters just a bit differently. We fry them a bit more on the crispy side, and we use fresh cut Grannie Smith apples each day to capitalize on the flavor! Most days we make them both glazed or dusted with cinnamon and sugar!
